Daniel C. Daniac was born into a family of artists — painters, writers, poets, and architects — in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, a city internationally recognized for its pioneering urban planning and elevated quality of life. He earned degrees in Industrial Design (2000) and Graphic Arts (2004). After relocating to California, U.S., he immersed himself in the field of architecture, gaining a deep understanding of the American building and construction industry.
This foundation continues to shape his artistic vision, giving his work both precision and depth. C. Daniac approaches each creation as a dialogue with the unseen, listening for what the piece wishes to reveal. To him, an artwork already exists in essence before it takes form, waiting to be uncovered.
Influenced by the surreal dreamscapes of Salvador Dalí, the intricate paradoxes of M.C. Escher, and the dark biomorphic worlds of H.R. Giger, C. Daniac channels these inspirations into a practice he describes as a form of inner navigation — a search for hidden truths within the vast fabric of the cosmos, unraveling each piece into both ends: the Light, and the Shadows.
